A lot of people have made comparisons between Makuta Teridax and my interpretation of Von Nebula, a coupla' people even assuming that they're one and the same person. Well.... I suppose they'd be half right.

This is that big swirly thingamajiggy simply referred to as "the void" that Teridax used to battle the Toa at the climax of the widely beloved Mata Nui Online Game from 2001. Soooo yeah. Pretty crazy, huh?

I suppose you could say that after Teridax was temporarily defeated back then, and he was never seen USING the power of The Void again, it dispelled and reformed here, where it met with Von Ness, and made his Hero Core completely devoid of light.

You may recognize more than a few of the pieces thrown in that mess, including a Toa Mata leg, a Slizer leg, half of a Slizer torso, an Inika calf, a Piraka calf, a faceless Piraka head, a Toa Mata pelvis, a Toa Mata arm, a Bohrok neck, a Rahkshi backbone, a Toa Mata Onua claw, a Slizer shoulder/Toa Mata hand, among other things.

Also, looks like I'm getting the hang of using these lighting effects! It's still a lot of work, so I can't say I'll do this for every page, but I suppose I will for really dramatic scenes like this. What do you guys think of these effects?
