Description
Inside the Damocles, 1:29 p.m. Lelouch and Alistair stood in front of Hawking, after hearing his motivations for being as villainous as he was.

Lelouch: Let me see if I understand this grand scheme of yours, President Jesus. You thought that humanity was going down the crapper because of cynics and bystanders doing nothing to change anything about society. And, you thought that a literal apocalypse to collapse society would fix that. So, when the brilliant people of the Britannian military, your Helghan Empire-looking sons of bitches, and literal, actually real life cyborgs, androids and AIs couldn’t do the job… Now. Now is the time to use WMDs.
Hawking: You’d be right. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Sorta like the same desperation that the Confederate remnants had, before becoming the Enclave, as well as the Nazi remnants.
Alistair: Speaking of which, we haven’t seen them in a while. Where are they?
Hawking: Wiped out, after Berlin, when you broke Kallen out.
Alistair: Makes sense.

Meanwhile, somewhere inside the Damocles, the sounds of a VARIS rifle being fired, as well as shotgun blasts could be heard behind a wall, then a burst shot of shotgun shells sent the Lancelot Enclave through said wall. The Lancelot copy then scrambled to its feet, the Zangetsu walking through the hole in the wall into the large room.

Zanzibar: Damn, do you know how to fight…!
Tohdoh: You pushed the wrong buttons, you son of a bitch.
Zanzibar: Too true… But, I still hold the advantage…!

The Lancelot Enclave fired its VARIS rifle, only for the Zangetsu to block it with its Radiant Wave shield. Zanzibar growled, and his Lancelot swung its MVS, landing a hit on the Zangetsu, Tohdoh’s head bleeding from the blow. Tohdoh touched his head and looked at his hand, seeing the blood.

Tohdoh: You know, Colonel… I can see why you were chosen to be Hawking’s top fighter, out of all the others. Not because of your status as a super soldier. No. I’m talking about the fact that you went out of your way to fight in a way that counters Alistair’s fighting style, for months if not years. I’ll admit, you did get the drop on me, several times, I never figured out how to beat you, the first couple of times. But...I found one little flaw in your unchanging battle strategy.
Zanzibar: And what would that be?
Tohdoh: I’m not Alistair Wake.

The Zangetsu fired its bazooka at the Lancelot Enclave, causing some damage to its armor. Upon the last shot being fired, the Zangetsu tossed aside the bazooka, fired every bullet from its wrist-mounted machine gun, then hit the Lancelot Enclave with the rest of the shells left in its shotgun, and firing the last grenade attached to it, as well. When Zanzibar recovered, and the smoke from the grenade cleared, the Zangetsu was gone. The Lancelot Enclave held its VARIS rifle with both hands, setting it to the anti-materiel setting.

Zanzibar: You certainly have similar fighting styles! You plan out your attacks, in an instant, and the moment you charge is when I will strike!
Tohdoh: You’re sloppy, Zanzibar. You always press the attack until the bitter end of either defeat or retreat. That’s how I can see right through you. That’s how Alistair saw through you, and beat you all those years ago.
Zanzibar: It was impressive that a bratty upstart like him was able to cause an entire military to go into hiding, for sure.
Tohdoh: (laughs) Really!? Is that all you think about!? How about him beating cyborgs, armies of criminals, the goddamn apocalypse itself, dragging those assholes by their faces through the entire continent!?
Zanzibar: Shut up, terrorist! You have no right to speak about your ruler, that way!
Tohdoh: Oh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t figure you for a child, behind all that gray hair…Roddy!
Zanzibar: My name’s! Not! RODDY!

Zanzibar was fed up with being insulted, and his Lancelot Enclave fired its VARIS in every direction, no longer wanting to fight Tohdoh, fairly, and wanted to crush him and his Knightmare in the rubble. He panted, after all the equipment fell all around his unit. The Lancelot Enclave turned around, and the Float Unit got hit with a Slash Harken, getting destroyed.

Zanzibar: What?!

As the Lancelot Enclave turned back around, the Zangetsu tossed aside a pod carrying its emergency loadout, its second Brake Sword on its back, and its Slash Harken in its chest was retracted, after destroying the Float Unit. It also had a second wrist-mounted machine gun, the first one having been reloaded. Zanzibar tried to flee, but the Zangetsu fired the Slash Harken on the hilt of its first Brake Sword, and hit the button that closed the door, locking the other Colonel inside. The button went with the Slash Harken back to the sword, falling onto the floor, and the Zangetsu held both of its Brake Swords, in a fighting stance.

Tohdoh: Let’s dance, asshole.
Zanzibar: A ballroom blitz, it is.

The Lancelot Enclave drew both of its MVSs, and the two Knightmares clashed in a sword fight, sparks flying and neither side giving an inch. The Lancelot Enclave’s movements in the fight were based on strength, wanting to get the fight over with and unchanging in the style of fighting, while the Zangetsu showed acrobatic ways of evasion and fighting, anticipating attacks and causing light damage to the opposing Knightmare, but damage nonetheless. Zanzibar panted from trying to kill Tohdoh, and as his Lancelot went for a slamming strike with both MVSs, the Zangetsu’s Brake Swords activated their thrusters and the force of the horizontal swing broke the MVSs. When the Lancelot Enclave tried to attack with its VARIS rifle, the Zangetsu cut through that with one of its Brake Swords, as well. The Zangetsu landed scores of swift and heavy blows with its Brake Swords, even spinning around with the thrusters active for further attacks and damage. The Zangetsu then thrust both swords into the cockpit of the Lancelot Enclave and plunged into Zanzibar’s chest. However, Zanzibar still lived, trying to keep fighting, and the Zangetsu tore a hole in the Lancelot copy’s chest, to get a clear shot at the pilot, firing all three of its Slash Harkens into Zanzibar’s body, then tossing the Lancelot Enclave around, slamming it on the floor repeatedly. After a heavy slam, the Zangetsu fired its shoulder-mounted machine gun turrets, unloading 150 bullets into Zanzibar’s body.

Tohdoh: DIIIIIE!

After unloading the bullets, the Lancelot Enclave stopped functioning, and Zanzibar was breathing his last breaths, as the Slash Harkens were removed from his body.

Zanzibar: So… This is how it all ends…
Tohdoh: You’re damn right. Your Virginian ass got wrecked by a Japanese man on a mission to keep the world safe. Learning a thing or two from teenagers, I might add. How does that feel, bumpkin?
Zanzibar: (chuckles, ditches Virginia accent) I wouldn’t really know.
Tohdoh: Huh?! Did you just...drop the accent?!
Zanzibar: Of course I did. You thought that I was born on that oil rig, losing my mind because of inbred political bullshit? No, I was in the Army. None of my ancestors were on the Confederate side. I was part of an overseas operation, trying to spy on Britannia. Knightmares weren’t up and running, yet, but my entire squad got wiped out. The higher-ups believed I was dead. When I returned...they didn’t even remember me. I was so hidden in their eyes, I went back to being a Private, after working so goddamn hard to get the rank of Sergeant First Class.
Tohdoh: So, you joined Hawking, when he recruited you to his private army?
Zanzibar: That’s right. I was promoted to Second Lieutenant, on the spot. At last, the glory of being a soldier was all mine. And, taken a step further with me being the only success from his super soldier dream project. All those times I was a strict, by-the-book, hard hitting hardass? That was the perpetual unlimited steroids talking. You’ve bested me, Kyoshiro Tohdoh. Go on, help your friends. I’ll be dead soon.

Tohdoh sighed, and his Zangetsu flew out of the room, leaving Zanzibar by himself in a wrecked Knightmare. Meanwhile, at a wall outside the Damocles, there were several gunshots going off, as well as VARIS blasts, and the Guren was about to fire its Radiant Wave blast.

Nanbu: (muffled) Shit!

The Radiant Wave blast sent both the Barbatos and Nobunaga outside the Damocles, destroying some of the Renegade and Primeblood Knightmares in the process. The Guren and Lancelot jumped out through the hole, and got immediately surrounded by hundreds of the very same Knightmares that were destroyed.

Nanbu: I think this is the part where you die, kiddos.
Kane: Nothing can save you this time.
Kallen: Gotta say, it’s really fun to team up with you rather than fight you.
Suzaku: Same, here. Special targeting system for the Stinger’s been set up?
Kallen: Oh, yeah. And, those new VARIS guns have automatic fire?
Suzaku: Got that right. On your signal.

Kallen took some deep breaths, and focused, scanning the surrounding enemies and picking eight of them to shoot with her Guren’s Stinger revolver.

Kallen: Now!

The Guren jumped back, rolling off the Lancelot’s back with its own back, and the Lancelot turned to where the Guren previously was, firing its VARIS SMGs, while the Guren took out eight commander units with all eight shots of its Stinger revolver. This maneuver destroyed 49 Knightmares, and the Lancelot handed the Guren its other VARIS, holstering the empty revolver and firing it immediately.

Nanbu: You know, I can’t help but be impressed with their coordination.
Kane: It’s not like we could do the same. Our Knightmares aren’t compatible for things like that. But, we do have the numbers to overwhelm them.
Nanbu: Yeah, playing fair’s for pussies.

At the signal of both the Nobunaga and Barbatos’ gestures, more Renegade and Primeblood Knightmare reinforcements arrived, only for the Nobunaga to get hit by a VARIS shotgun blast.

Nanbu: What?! Who did that?!

Hovering toward Nanbu’s Nobunaga was the Nobunaga of General Chase, upgraded at the last minute.

General Chase: Sorry I’m late. My wife was in labor back home. I intend to finish this fight as a father, much like how Prime Minister Ohgi will. Isn’t that right, Prime Minister?
Ohgi: (over radio) Oh, most definitely. I think all our friends will take enjoyment of recreating the defense of Tokyo.
Kane and Nanbu: (in unison) Ah, shit.

The Black Knights and Tokyo Mavericks Knightmares flew in to support the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. and Lancelot Albion, destroying the enemy Knightmares to relieve Kallen and Suzaku. Nanbu’s Nobunaga was then blindsided by General Chase’s Nobunaga, getting slashed with its MVS, then getting surrounded by the somewhat repaired Zangetsu, Omoikane and commander Akatsukis.

Nanbu: Tohdoh?! I thought you were fighting Zanzibar!
Tohdoh: Killed him. Now, we get to have round two, you greedy, egocentric son of a bitch.
Nanbu: Oh, fuck me…

As the Barbatos tried to intervene with its axe, the Gawain Nexus used its own axe to send the enemy Knightmare back. The Barbatos was then surrounded by the Yoshitsune, Okuninushi, Tristan Divider, Mordred, Tenkai, Koga Saburo, Michizane and Yamato Takeru.

Kane: You’re all Britannians, aren’t you?
Cornelia: Oh, yeah.
Guilford: I’m going to enjoy this.
Euphemia: Same, here.
Seth: Except me, I’m American.
Tamaki: And, I’m Japanese.
Kane: Well, then…

As the others took care of the more numerous Knightmares, the team taking on Nanbu showed what they were made of, Chase’s Nobunaga clashing with Nanbu’s unit, and managing to overpower the left-handed fighter and cause some damage. With a final slash, Nanbu’s Nobunaga staggered back, and the Omoikane fired its heavy assault rifle, along with the Zangetsu, Michizane and commander Akatsukis, chipping away at the defensive armor. With every bullet in the clips spent, the Knightmares then switched to their melee weapons. The Akatsukis dashed in, catching Nanbu’s Nobunaga off guard with their variety of chainsaw katana slashes, and constantly overwhelming it and getting into its blind spots. After the Akatsukis’ assault, the Omoikane dashed in and hit the Nobunaga with several heavy slashes with its scissor blades, landing a devastating double pincer slash to end its turn. Afterwards, the Zangetsu assaulted Nanbu’s Knightmare with fast and powerful Brake Sword slashes, Tohdoh getting his payback on Nanbu for everything he did to Japan. Meanwhile, the Barbatos was getting assaulted by the Okuninushi and its Tesla Blade, burning through parts of the armor and evading the axe slashes. As the Barbatos tried to back away, the Okuninushi sheathed the Tesla blade, drew two SMGs and hit the Barbatos with its Slayer Harkens, dragging it back towards the fight while landing every shot from the SMGs. As the Slayer Harkens sent the Barbatos forward, the Tristan Divider and Mordred struck it with their MVSs, rapidly cutting its armored body. After the Mordred and Tristan backed away, the Yoshitsune, Tenkai and Koga Saburo alternated their attacks, slashing and bludgeoning the Barbatos with coordinated strikes, frustrating Kane. After a combined upward strike that sent the Barbatos upwards, the Yamato Takeru spun in, slashing it with its MVS greatsword several times and sending it to the floor, bouncing off of it. Angrily, Kane maneuvered the Barbatos to attack with its axe again, and the Gawain Nexus countered with its own axe, outclassing Kane’s skills with the less versatile Knightmare. General Chase’s Nobunaga kept slashing Nanbu’s Nobunaga with its MVS, and sent it toward the Barbatos with its VARIS shotgun set to the anti-materiel mode, causing both Knightmares to crash into each other.

Nanbu: Motherfucker!
Kane: Are we really such ragdolls?!
Euphemia: Yeah. You are.
Seth: Fact is, you two may have had plenty of time fighting outside of a Knightmare, but your Knightmares don’t reflect your fighting styles, at all.
Cornelia: You hid in the shadows and let your cronies do all the fighting, while we fought our own damn selves.
Suzaku: It’s how you lost, back then…
Kallen: And, it’s how you’ll lose, now.
Kane: I doubt that.
Nanbu: Not unless we put our Float Units on maximum overdrive! See ya, fuckers!

When the Nobunaga and Barbatos tried to flee, a series of missiles hit their backs, destroying the Float Units and stunning their systems. The Lancelot Frontier flew up to the other ace Knightmares, the shield it got from the Percival smoking from the missiles being launched.

C.C.: Am I late?
Kallen: Just in time, actually.
Nanbu: You upstart bitch! How are we supposed to escape, now!?
Kane: I...don’t think we do.

Suddenly, the Nobunaga and Barbatos were surrounded by the ace Knightmares, preparing to attack with their best ranged weapons, all at once.

Kane: So, we die once again, in a blaze of humiliation.
Nanbu: (sighs) Goddammit…

The Omoikane fired its Revenant Cannon, the Tristan, its VARIS crossbow, the Mordred, its Stark Hadron Cannon, the Lancelot fired both VARIS SMGs with the Hadron cannon setting and the Guren launched one more Radiant Wave blast, all of these attacks amongst other powerful attacks that enveloped and destroyed the Nobunaga and Barbatos, ridding the world of the Renegades and Primebloods once more.
