Are you using Absorption/Fog for the Blue in the sphere's, or just refraction color?
This is fantastic, but I just couldn't figure it out O__O

all i used was an hdri image and had it light the scene

hio, looks awesome, ive been trying to get a similar effect with maya and mental ray, with the reflections and the refracted light on the ground, but i cant seem to get the light to refract through, all i get is a shadow of the speres....
could you give me any hints or direction o a good tutorial on the matter?

raytracing, final gather, and max trace depth settings all help with this, thanks for the comment

thanks, yea i changed it to 90degrees, but it still looked a lil off, :\ thanks for the comments though

you need to change the mapping setting for that HDRI, thats why the reflections look a bit off. Other than that, its pretty good.
