The Following image and information is on current events of the 'dragon shaped' continent of Mimar, and it's native kingdom of Mordor.

The kingdom was once a lush and green land, until one of it's mountains erupted into a volcano, otherwise known as Mt. Doom. The dark lord Sauron build his fortress of Barad Due out of the black rock and scorched steel. As the population began to shrink, Mordor's borders began to recede.

Feeling that the world of Men would one day threaten his home, Sauron ordered the Black Gate be built between the two mountain passes of the main land to defend his land from outside aggressors. With the only mountain pass closed off, there was no way any invader or aggressor could attack without first going through the front gate.

Centuries later, during the Great War, Isildur Numenor lead the other Star Knights of that generation into a full scale battle to destroy Salem and her armies of darkness. Barad-Dur was left as a ruined and abandoned fortress, and the Black Gate was sealed behind them.

Despite their victory, humanity did not feel that the darkness fully passed. So the kingdom of Mantel built a fortress along the mountain side, only a few miles from the Black Gate, as a means of keeping watch over the black land.

Decades later, the fortress was attacked and overwhelmed by Salem's generals, the Nazgul. The fortress was built to withstand a siege for weeks on end, just over 2,000 soldiers were stationed to protect it, and yet it fell within three hours.

With their new fortress, the Nazgul renamed it to their own benefit, and so the dark fortress of Minas Morgul was born, and with it, the last defense against Mordor in Mimar was gone. What came next was the next Great War, a war where children will become warriors, some will die, others will become living legends.
