I hate those times when you get in late and have to sprint all the way across the airport to catch your connecting flight.Iβm doing a series of illustrations based on different forms of mass transit.

Running through the airport is not fun. Walking on the moving sidewalk is. It makes you feel like your the Flash. You're just walking along, not breaking a sweat, but you're going so fast, and it feels so easy...what, I can't be the only one who uses the moving sidewalk just for kicks, can I?

I love how casual and cool color based all the people who are taking there time are in contrast to the warm colored frantic protagonist. haha

I really how the construction of the drawing is set up and with all the stuff that is in the background and foreground.Β The character that is running is very expressive and there is a sense of anxiousness to the character since he is in a hurry to catch his flight.

This happens to my dad so often. He has to travel for work, and he's not a young man anymore. There is so much stress in airports, even without running late. [I still really love it, though.]

I absolutely love flying and traveling. But for some reason, I always end up running all the way across to the complete other side of the airport to catch my connecting flight. Not too much fun in the moment, but I makes for pretty fond memories. Kinda makes the whole experience an adventure!
