personally I like the fact the backgroun is plain, it's adds that dramatic going into battle thing. If anythin ya a few really small ones and some dots in the background to keep the effect going and make it look more glorious. dats my opinion but we all know what those are worth

Btw, I *don't* think this needs a more detailed background. I see the yellow as some sort of lamp or light in front of which an air-battle rages.

the ladybug is totally fantastic.

one thing i've always admired about your stuff is the awesome backgrounds - even when they're totally plain. however, in this case i was rather disappointed. not that i don't really love that colour, or love it with black and white - but it just doesn't go for me.

just my half cent's worth.
