the detail in the hair is fantastic. i think there should be more red in the picture though, like a red tint or something on the outlines. so much of your stuff would look great on album covers.

This really strikes a chord with me. The concept of the monster lurking deep in our bowels is something that's always been part of my personal visual mythology [link] , if you want to call it that, and your deviation evokes powerful and terrible feelings in me.

i concieved this sketch while recovering from the stomach flu. it was really scary because my usual ravenous appetite was completely suppressed. i went a week without ever feeling hungry. but the monster in our gut represents so many fears, so this has a double meaning for me. fear and sickness are horrible things.

Yes, especially when they go hand in hand.

Very visceral work (bad puns for the win)!
I really like the way the figure seems to fade into cloth and the earth tone of the pencil. I also love the 'Shroud of Turin' look, very appropriate for the time of the year!

An interesting concept, and even though it is very frightening I like this. Especially the hidden eyes, protrusive ribs, and overall earth-toned colors.
