Aw, this is just too cute for words! It's very possible that Jimmy's robot dog was named after the American scientist, inventor and theorist Robert Hutchings Goddard. The man came up with the idea of the liquid fuel rocket, and we all know that Jimmy makes extensive use of his Staro XL ship and jetpack.
