#134 Vaporeon / ShowersShe's more anime than my average girl, but sometimes that's how it goes. She has an almost retro space-girl underwater-goer look.

Now there's a girl one would love to hang at the pool with. Vaporeon is one of my favorite Pokemon, I just love your rendition of her^^ It's awesome, it's adorable, it's adorably awesome!

I almost didn't recognize this one as yours from the thumbnail. It's been a very long time since I've seen such an obviously anime style drawing from you. It's a very pleasant surprise.

Yeah, the strong anime features don't sneak back in that often, since I've moved away from the style somewhat to build my own style. But they are fun to do, so my pokegirl series is an opportunity to get back to that. I'm glad you like it.
I can tell you've been practicing. Your marker work and experimentation is coming through very strongly. I've seen so much development of your colors and style in the last few years!

It's always fun to change your style a bit. I don't have any particular style of my own (not that I can identify anyway), so it's pretty easy to jump from one style to another. Both of your styles are instantly recognizable to me. I can always tell it's your artwork in the thumbnails long before I even read your name underneath them.
I can't wait for you to see some of my newest works. I think I've made another leap of improvement recently, mostly in my background colouring and use of white space in my shading. It takes a lot longer to colour now, but the results are pleasing even to me, so that's saying a lot considering how self-critical I can be.
DA is a great art site. I'm glad I found it. Now I wait for better internet, so I can share some of my new stuff, instead of stuff that's 2-3 years old already.
