This was a day late but better late than never. Already it's been 15 years since the first Shantae game came out on Gameboy Color in 2002. If it came out back in the 90's like they planned, Shantae would have been 23 by now. Turns out....she canonically could be!


I gave her a brown tip at the end of her hair as a callback to her original design when Shantae first had brunette hair. Though I prefer her with purple hair best. Here's to 15 years of everyone's favorite belly-dancing, magic using, half-genie.Β Β
