My friend Cally, who is awesome at viola, agreed to let me take a picture of her playing.The lighting wasnt very good so I had to resort to using my camera's built-in flash...
Had to take a few 'learning' shots as I hardly ever use flash for any picture to get the settings right.

I believe the Sepia tone carries the saddened song of the instrument. Beautiful depiction here and wonderful angle.

Great perspective shot. I love how just the closest part of the viola is in sharp focuses, softening toward the player. I'd be interested to see a reverse of this though. With the player very clear and softening toward the camera.
