Description My first photographs of my summer break, I used to learn ballet, this is the first time I've worn my pointe shoes in over a year, I wanted to document the angular lines of my feet and legs. I wanted to build up the antique feeling by raising the saturation and giving the photograph a warmer tint.

your left shoe isn't as broken-in as your right...

Yeh I know. I'm completely right-sided, right-handed, right-footed, I think my right eye is better than my left too lol. But yeh so it took me longer to break in my left-shoe, also I don't think my left foot is as strong so it doesn't stretch the shoe in to place as well as the right...

your right shoe doesn't look as broken in as the left...? cause the left have a very nice point. haha

Thanks! Although do you mean the foot on the left of the photo? Because that's my right & yeh I'm a righty so I guess I favour that side or something?? I duno, I need to work on my left foot a bit lol!

Love the photo, en pointe pix are quite popular in deviant but this one is a step above. Great job. The gold tint, black leg warmers and wood grain background all worked well together with the shoes.

Thank you very much, I appreciate that yeh I thought the gold tint worked really well with the wood in the background to give an antique feeling which I thought worked quite well.

Thanks. It's not that bad when you're in practice actually, it hurt for this photo though as I haven't worn them for a year or so.

Wow...I used to do ballet but never got high enough grade to wear the pointing shoes. Admittedly I was never much of a dancer fall stop lol. But still a brilliant picture =3

Thank you, I haven't practiced in ages, I was surprised to find my feet still stretched like that. Thank you very much for the two favs also, I very much appreciate it

You're welcome, I'm always happy to find pictures of people that really take ballet, because I can't stand those "put your model en pointe and you have ballet photos"-attitude of some photographers. It was a pleasure to see yours! ^-^

Yeh I know what you mean, they annoy me because the photographs themselves are always so good too, but then I think to myself they have models, it's not a self portrait which makes me feel better. I love your outdoors summery photos btw, with the ballet. They're really sweet, oh & all your pointe shoes!! I wish I had a better selection, but I just don't need it...
