How many more to understand? How many of us still have to pay because of pollution? Why are we afraid of the end of the world in 2012, and ignores what we kill today?Quanti ancora per capire? Quanti di noi devono ancora pagare per colpa dell'inquinamento? Perchè ci si spaventa per la fine del mondo nel 2012, e si ignora ciò che ci uccide oggi?

Oggi Γ¨ stato approvato un decreto che consentirΓ all'Ilva di uccidere legalmente..Il nostro "caro" ministro (dell'ambiente sarebbe una parolona) Clini ha fatto in modo che ciΓ² avvenisse..Sono giΓ decedute circa 12.000 persone in sette anni per colpa dell'ilva...Una cittΓ che vive da oltre 2000 anni, non puΓ² morire in questo modo..Scusa per il lungo commento. Grazie ancora!

That painting reminds me when I was under 11 years old. In the Dominican Republic I was sick all the time with asthma in the hospital do to pollution. I used to live around 6 miles next to a place similar to your background. Great painting from your part. I'm still working on my first painting and thank you for the inspiration to keep going.

It's really not that sad if you think of the solution. Simply show the people that have the power to change things why they need to change things. That things, how they are, aren't working and why.

It's sad that most of us will understand when they or their loved ones get seriously sick... and even then some fail to connect the dots.

This is the essence of why I hate pollution: it destroys EVERYTHING. The pal, sickly child in this image, barefoot and holding a teddy bear but wearing the face of a world-weary adult who wants it all to end, or maybe even to end it all, just so he doesn't have to FEEL anymore....the IV hookup, already half-empty, and who knows if it will ever be filled again (Somehow I think the pouch is full of the world's resources, and if so, oh dear, we're draining even faster than I thought....) and the stinking, filthy factory belching smoke behind him, with all those faceless, smokelike afterimages of people long before, people we don't even have enough power to SEE because they're too far gone, too caught up in it all already....
Curse our messups in the environment, curse them to whatever hell can exist and then some, and then some one please help me fix this stupid problem known as environmental massacring that happens today!?!
