Hello there, watchers and watcherettes!This is yet another one in what might become a LONG list of MINIMiniMasterpieces, courtesy of . He commissioned me a couple of days ago and I couldn't resist, so I snugged two of these small pieces for him in-between the cavalcade of TenDollarBusts I'm sketching (yes, guys, I'm almost there!).
Mercury from the X-Men was one of his choices and so here she is in all her metallic glory. I rather enjoyed depicting her, since metallics are my thing (or so I'd like to believe) and I got to throw in a little homage to T2 what with her powers described as similar to the infamous T-1000. The bullet holes and the long blade are kudos to Robert Patrick and James Cameron

I picked up on the T2 reference with the blade like forearms, nice touch though really adds to the piece.

I've always liked this characters visual design, despite knowing nothing about her, so it's really cool to see you lend your pencils to a rendering of her. I really like the details of the bullet imbedding in her skin.

The T1000 would work so well with the same 'pitted' effect you got going there
