Description
In 1922, the world was graced with one of the most iconic horror movies of all time, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.

80 years later, the world was graced with one of the best episodes of Spongebob, season two's "Graveyard Shift" an episode in which for the first time ever, the world's most beloved sponge meets the world's most beloved silent horror vampire! (Albeit at the end of the episode) Several years later (specifically 2018), in season eleven's "The Night Patty" saw the return of Count Orlok, this time working the night shift at the Krusty Krab.

This Halloween, rather than the Count invading Bikini Bottom, it is Spongebob who comes to Transylvania to face off the titular vampire. How he comes to Transylvania is unknown, but what is known is that Spongebob is in for a world of classic horror!

This was a really fun one to make, I'd always wanted to draw a more frightening meet up between the two with Count Orlok looming over the fearful sponge. I tried the best I could to replicate the iconic shot of the vampire walking into a room through the large door, which was the very shot that was used in the aforementioned "Graveyard Shift" with a few minor edits (the light switch and his arm reaching for said light switch). Plus, I couldn't find any fan art of Spongebob meeting Count Orlok, so I thought I could rectify that problem for Halloween!

Also I tried experimenting with gradients in the background to match the lighting in the shot of the movie this picture was based on, I plan on trying to perfect the use of gradients in the future.
