Well folks, here we are, the moment y'all been waiting for, the much hyped and anticipated 300th DeviantArt Post, and what better way to celebrate than by showcasing an epic battle between two pop culture icons, Godzilla (FinalGoji) and Eva 01 while Minilla, Kenta and his Grandpa from Godzilla Final Wars watch from a far.

In recent years, there have been a lot, and I mean A LOT of collaborations between Godzilla and Evangelion, most of them being through special merchandise, however it wasn't until 2019 when we would finally see an on screen crossover between the two franchises with the Universal Studios Japan ride, Godzilla vs. Evangelion: The Real 4-D, where Shin Godzilla initially battles the main characters, Shinji, Rei and Asuka, before eventually teaming up against King Ghidorah. One of the more recent collaborations includes a pachinko game as well as a crossover in the mobile game, Godzilla Battle Line, which one of the advertisements for the events include Eva 01 doing battle with who else than FinalGoji, which is what inspired this piece, well among another thing....

You see, much like with the upcoming The Little Mermaid AU, I've also been planning to make an Godzilla x Evangelion crossover fanfic, though unlike TLM AU, I haven't fully flesh it out just yet, but rest assured in the not too distant future, you'll be able to see my take on a Godzilla x Evangelion crossover, side note I'll mainly focus on the original Neon Genesis continuity.
