Been a while since I've posted! This part 1 of a large image of a battle in Kancolle, which will include a large a fleet of 6 ships (that light on her one side you see will come from the ship's fire on her side for example). I'm going to start challenging myself with new angles and perspectives, and I think this large piece will help me start that. If I had to give some ideas of who will be there, there will be 2 Battleships, 1 Fast Battleship and 2 Destroyers.

Kaga was my first larger sized ship in the browser game, and has since become one of my favourite ships. I learnt a helluva lot with this image, such as new techniques for clouds and water. I will be doing some work in between, and it will definitely have a lot fresher feel and new ideas from various angles, perspectives and overall new ideas that won't feel like the same type of thing each time. I'll do my best to keep you guys entertained!

For those interested in my method, I started with 2H mechanical pencil on marker paper, then inked with sakura pigma multiliners 0.05, 0.1 and copic ciao black. I then scanned and coloured on photoshop CS6 with a Wacom Intuos.
