Description
The Yagami ("household god") are the Special Grade Curses of this world, one per colony, and as thus, the only curses capable of leaving the barrier without being exorcised in the process. They are protectors, providers, and consequently, rulers of their colonies.
There's rivalry among the Yagami, though they don't get into much direct conflict due to the abundance of resources and the trade routes - and the fact Sukuna can, will, and has kicked all of their butts at least once, spectacularly, and no one wants to start a mess that could attract his attention or his annoyance.

Sakurajima (named after the volcano of the same name, she/her) is the Yagami of Sazansan ("southern sun", Kagoshima). She goes by Sakura.
Sakura is the Third Imaginary God, born of the fear of the Kagoshima volcano she is named after. The fighting of the Culling Games and the influx of cursed energy set it off into an explosion of such magnitude that it covered the whole of the Game's area in ash, and it almost destroyed the colony of Kagoshima completely, if not for some of their sorcerers. The fear of such an occurence happening again eventually gave birth to Sakura.
Sakura is brash, proud and has an explosive temper, but she's also warm and fiercely protective of her colony. She lives deep inside the jagged unique cone that the Sakurajima volcano has been turned into, accessible only through a tunnel at its very feet. She loves to meddle in the life of the colony, though, and only retreats to her home to rest and calm down the volcano when it threatens to explode, guiding its eruptions into something beneficial for the colony, like expanding the fields or fertilizing with ash, absorbing the unreleased energy into herself to convert it into cursed energy for her to use.
She specializes on different ash and fire-related techniques, as expected, but she's clever about them, using ash to confuse and disorient her victims before blowing them up quite explosively.
The number of obsidian stones on her face that resemble eyes changes with the amount of cursed energy she has at the time. In truth, she has no eyes at all, guiding herself by feeling the 'warmth' of the cursed energy of her surroundings. This means that it is very difficult to escape her, and that she is completely unimpeded by her own ash.
However, if she uses too much cursed energy she can grow 'cold', falling into a torpor that leaves her slow and blind. Her physical body is quite fragile too, the equilibrium of inner heat and cool air working against her, and throwing water on her can turn her explosions on her as she loses control of her fire techniques.

Sakura is a curse in my Curse Adventure series in Ao3, a non-canon compliant future AU following Gojo Satoru, and which explores the 'what if' of Kenjaku's "see you in, oh, one thousand years."
