I just got a new camera, and I'm still not used to it. All of my night shots wind up being set to long-exposure, and so everything gets blurry, especially lights. Instead of worrying about how to fix it, I eventually gave up and decided to have fun with what I was given. I'm pretty happy with the results.

The title isn't "ID," by the way, as in my new DevART ID. No, it refers to the Id in Psychology, representing the more animalistic, hedonist side of your subconscious. That's sort of what I think of when I look at this photo.

I totally read "id" as the psych thing. I like this photo.

Thanks.

You know, it might be a little sad, but I used to read "The Wizard of Id" in the comics section of the newspaper as "The Wizard of Idaho." Maybe I can be the wizard of Idaho, though, barring Ezra Pound's admission.

This comic: [link]

It's in the newspaper here, and I used to think "Id"stood for Idaho.

I kind of wish it was "The Wizard of Idaho," though, because that's far more entertaining. Even still, maybe if I'm famous enough, I could be the Wizard of Idaho, and my dream would actually come true. That, of course, is assuming that Ezra Pound isn't already the wizard of my state, considering he was born here. He's slightly higher at the moment as far as important writers are concerned. Savvy?

Sometimes I forget that not everyone can follow my thought processes. Lol. I forget to show my work. XD

Speaking of which, I went to tispy-Level 2 on Friday. I sipped a beer, shotgunned two more, and drank a few shots of Jager. Then I went with my friends to Winco. It was really fun. I have yet to actually get drunk, and I kinda want to, just to see what I'd be like. So far, I'm just really sarcastic and out of it, but that's kind of normal for me.

You are the exact opposite of anything I could call a conscience. XD

I'm probably going to get tanked in a week or two, because one of my friends said his parents are out of town. It probably won't be a huge party, but personally I feel it's more fun to drink with friends. We just have to get his little brother out of the house, and then we have a few boxes of beer and some tequila to drink. Should be fun. I don't plan on being drunk very much in my life. I'm really only doing it just to see what it's like. I thought being tipsy would suck, but it was actually a lot of fun. I see myself getting tipsy WAY more often than smashed. Getting hammered is really only something I'd do while traveling. Case in point? Octoberfest. How can you NOT get drunk in Germany? XD

I've told you that my friends and I are getting tipsy one day at Disneyland, right?

Oh, and do you ever have one of those "oh, if my past self could see me now" moments? I think I just had one.

Yes, yes, victory is yours. You are clearly the sole reason why I've entered my "ever-so-slightly, but not really rebellious phase."

Wait, take pictures of what--me being drunk, Disneyland, or Octoberfest? Because I can tell you right now that drunks have a hard time operating electronic equipment.

I like the duality of this one - somber and giddy. And yes, 'id" definately fits. You know Kelly fancies himself the embodiment of the id? Dare say, I've found I can't argue with that one for the most part...

I can argue against Kelly being id for several reasons. While he does enjoy doing things based on impulse, he's still about a notch or to above that.'ve known enough crazy people to understand what it means to do things solely off of impulse. Then again, the fact that Kelly isn't crazy almost makes it worse.
