WHOOPS. I JUST REALIZED THAT CATAPULT ZOMBIE WEARS DRIVING GLOVES, AND THAT HE WINDS UP HIS CATAPULT TO LAUNCH BASKETBALLS.
Ah, the Catapult Zombie. Hard to beat, and hard to draw. As you can see, I tried to draw him from a sort of semi-frontal view, and it didn't come out as great as I was hoping. In fact, I ended up making his catapult a little too tiny, so please bear with me. Catapult Zombie reminds me of a janitor in a way, especially the one at my elementary school when I was little. (Who wasn't undead, of course.) Maybe he was one in life. After all, Ladder Zombie was probably a carpenter. The catapult looks like one of the makeshift homemade variety that some people build for contests and such. Or maybe he's just an undead "backyard inventor" type. Personality-wise, I see Catapult Zombie as being smarter than the other zombies (except Zomboss) because he appears to know how a catapult works and apparently built said catapult (judging by the looks of it). He also seems to understand that only a catapulted object can go over a slanted roof, which is why he built it in the first place. If Catapult Zombie is implied to be a genius, I find this a bit surprising, as in fiction, the fat characters are almost always morons. (Hey, averting the stereotypes is pretty cool, though.)
Catapult Zombie is not a very easy zombie to draw; not only is his catapult a nightmare to get right, but he is definitely one fat zombie. Probably because he sits around in the vehicle all day, but then again, so does Zomboni, and he's not fat... Maybe his catapult has a built in "brain tracker", so he finds more brains to eat.
Just for fun, I threw in (no pun intended) one of my favorite plants-Melon-Pult. He's chucking watermelons through the air in a valiant attempt to smash that ramshackle catapult thingy.
Anyhoo...I'm all PvZ'd out for now. I'm taking a little break from it for a while, because I don't really know what to draw besides the commonly-drawn characters and I just want to have more variety.
