Title is self-explanatory. I've always thought of Seifer as a 'fire' kind of person, whereas Squall, his opposite, is ice. SQUALL and SEIFER BOTH use the fire magic. it is one of those commonalities that rivals have. if anyone should use ice, it's seifer, for he is cold and calculating most of the time. squall is less in tune with his ability to cast away his own anger. *cough-cough...dies of pneumonia*

Nooooo, no no no no. I know they can both use fire magic, bdur, it's part of the game's magic system! Yeah, they have commonalities, they're rivals! They want to best one another in everything! But, if you look at their personalities, it's obvious the choice for element. Squall=cold, antisocial, not in touch with his feelings, etc. Seifer=angry, passionate, tempermental, and so forth. Come on...can't you see?
And I'm sorry about the pneumonia. >.<
