Maybe she's screaming because of the possibility of having to abandon her friends? The worst thing'd be if she became like Sunset Shimmer.
...Of course, she may also have absorbed the magic of the Elements, which'd also support the tragedy of replacing her poor friends (and the now lonely unicorn, Rarity)
