I like his serious expression better as well. But I think that the reason he's always drawn in a silly manner is because of the Abridged Series.

Well its an Abridged series... Everyone is an annoying idiot pretty much.
I love the original so much more but stupid comic relief is nice sometimes.

Well there can be a funny stupid and an annoying stupid.
A few years back I laughed my ass off but I think he puts too much fanservice in it nowadays, and uses the same jokes over and over again.
But I saw his second episode from the abridged season zero and I have to say I was pretty amazed I laughed like with the old episodes! I hope he changes to this kind of humour again.
It works without all the fanservice as well. .___.

I just think he puts way too much Thiefshipping into it. I like Thief, but meh. Hey he did say that Season 0 was like... The upside down one or something like that and there's no Marik in that season aaaaand Ryou and Bakura actually interact. Hers hoping he puts some Tendershipping. XD *Crosses fingers*

I just didn't want to say it XD
Cause I don't like thiefshipping at all and if I say it's too much, it could sound that it's just because of the fact I don't like it.
But to be honest I really enjoyed it at the beginning! The first episode where Bakura met Malik was hilarious! and the few who followed as well!
It was because it was just hinted, Bakura didn't really tried to get into Maliks pants. But now the hints turn into flirts.
And I think he doesn't put thief in their because a funny idea came to him when he thinks about the show. I think he thinks: "what kind of thiefshipping joke can I put in which is funny" and that's why it's not that funny anymore, he's doing it on purpose.
And he puts Malik everywhere! I mean Malik is gone for a while he doesn't appear in the Noah Arc but LK just had to put him in there by force. .__.
I wouldn't mind if he doesn't put a shipping in season zero I think it's way more funny without shipping and just with little hints like in the beginning of the show.
But I don't think he will put tender in there anyway.

Haha, I'm indifferent to Thiefshipping. I don't hate it but I don't love it. 
I agree that he does shove Marik down our throats in a way, but he really does like Thiefshipping, he even writes Fanfictions! I haven't read them because... Its not Tender. XD And even if I did my phone would crash, since I use my phone internet more than anything. I guess I just have so much Tender in it that it doesn't compute any other shipping.
Yeah, but it'd be nice if he did hint to Tender in season 0. But knowing him he'll probably try to put Marik in there.

Well I think he wasn't such a fan at the beginning just as all the fans were like "AWWWW THIEF!" he became one.
At least as I remember it. The fanfics are young as well. (I haven't read them either it would just upset me.)
Yes he probably will force him in there as well. But hey maybe there is hope and it will take a while until he finishes season zero anyway.. So I just hope his urge to force this into TAS dies down.

Yeah, the fics upset me too... I'm sorry, I do like Thief but... I don't know, I just can truly only picture Bakura with Ryou, to me Tender is just so much better. I've never really finished a Thief fic... I just can't.
I hope he doesn't and even though its slim, I'm still crossing my fingers for a Tendershipping reference in season 0. XD

I just figured out that I have no problem with Japanese Thiefshipping it's more like this western thief which creeps me out. ._. Well I read thieffanfics a few years ago, I had no problem with them back then, but I don't know since I'm back and I see fangirlys of the shipping everywhere I just don't like it anymore. Mostly like I said because of TAS, they get the character of Malik and Bakura wrong and because I knew some jerks who are thiefshippers and bitched about Tendershipping.
That really made me angry back then. I guess since that's why I don't like it.
But hey most the japanese Artists are Tendershipper so we'll never run out of our fav shippings

Yeah, I've met people that hate on Tendershipping because of TAS. Its annoying, but like you said we'll never run out of Tender!
