I think it is more likely that Discord is going to be jealous of her friend (even if its goign to be Pinkie or another animal) than they would repeat a Gala episode. They never really repeat holiday episodes again

Yeah...crossed fingers....I heard about that Discord hosting the galla and asks Fluttershy for help, and I also saw somebody say that John, who played Discord, confirmed that Fluttercord will be cannon in season 5. He said something about acting out a part and Fluttershy asks him to bring a friend to there usual hang outs, and Discord gets jealous. But as you said....fingers crossed....and John was probably teasing but we can hope.
I'm thinking maybe...just maybe that what john said might occur on the episode it described when Fluttershy finds a deer that is even more shy than she is. I'm thinking maybe she helps the dear and invites him/her to a picnic, and asks if Discord wouldn't mind if she brings her friend and Discord gets jealous that it might be a stallion. Well thats my guess.

I've seen this one before and all I can say I don't think that is what it meant.. If you look at it... There are clearly TWO different backgrounds which suggests to me that someone was messing with fluttercord fans...In fact I'm not even sure that this is even a real teaser and it wouldn't be the first time that a fake teaser showed up.. I seen enough of the fake ones to know that they are out there messing with the fans minds and making them think something was going to happen but didn't...
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's impossible but I DO point out that Hasbro has been very, very, very, tightlipped about the 5'th season to the point I'm not even sure it'll come out when they last said it would come out but if they keep their word and things go well it will be out VERY soon and that is why we must take everything we see or hear on the internet with a grain of salt as the fans and others begin to guess what they think will happen...
Right now the biggest "going to happen" has been the rumor of the rest of the mane 6 going Alicorn in season 5 and while I got nothing for or against it.. Surely they wouldn't do that in just one season.. It took Twilight 4 whole seasons and even if one take in accounts the fact the other five have been with Twilight this whole time I just think that something like that would take at least 2 seasons to happen to say nothing of the fact it's susposed to be Twilight who does it?.. Not without Celestia approval at least...... So I'm taking this with a grain of salt and not let any of the rumors affect me from enjoying the 5'th season of a series that was supposed to end with the 4'th season...

I know that is what Hasbro is saying but I'm not seeing anything to suggest there is even going to be a 5'th season ever since the 4'th season ended and I'm the kind of person if I don't see even one thing that suggest there is going to even be a 5'th season after all this time I going start having my doubts about what is being suggested by anyone;. To say nothing of the fact that most of the rumors are now fan-based which means that they are going to see what they want to see until the 5'th season is out.. I'm just being realistic here.. I mean when the last time Hasbro has said anything about when it's coming out? Sometime about early last year if I'm not mistaken... It's supposed to come out sometime in March and what have we heard in the way of NEW news?.. Nothing! Nada! Zip! That is why I'm taking this "info " with grain of salt!!!!

Those are 2 different scenes from Keep Calm and Flutter On and they do suggest with the way they are edited together like there will be more chemistry between them. Possibly an episode. However the teaser wasn't made by DHX but by Hasbro employee. They may still know enough about the future to make such teases but it's probably just a tease just like with Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich. DHX director already said that there will be no boyfriends in Season 5. So the only thing that may happen is just Discord interacting with her in a more friendly way.
