Hey, NightmareDerpy? If you don't mind, there's something that I hope you'll help me with. I apologize for this post being rather long, but please, I need your help.
I was searching for artwork related to 'Make New Friends But Keep Discord' and I stumbled across a journal post from the CelestiaCord group discussing the moments that hinted at their ship. Personally, I thought the claim made there was ridiculously weak, seeing as they just so happened to only mention one of the many FlutterCord moments there were... but I digress.
I was browsing some of the comments on this particular journal- nothing too bad, just people discussing the ship- until I found this little gem. It was in regards to a post one of the writers made about CelestiaCord on their Twitter page concerning 'Make New Friends But Keep Discord'. All it said was "Moral of the story: Celestia loves Discord". I'm pretty damn sure it was just a joke the writer made, but again, I digress. So, back to the journal post, there were replies to the comment that had the link to the Twitter page. And here's the one that made me want to talk with you:
"Officially cannon. But man, the stupid Fluttercords who had to comment below it..."
STUPID FLUTTERCORDS
This made me ticked off beyond all belief. You dislike a ship? Okay, that's fine. Everyone has their own opinion. But outright calling those that have a different opinion than you STUPID?
This is what I want your help with. I want to reply to this person- not to lash out at them, just to calmly and firmly tell them to respect those with different opinions. Then the thought came over me that, if I did reply, I'd start an all-out shipping comment war, and that's not what I want. So I ask you, what should I do?
I'm sorry this is so long, really. I just don't know what to do.

Wow, yeah that's a toughie, but like my sister said, it's better not to say anything. Dislestia shippers tend to take ANYTHING a Fluttercord shipper says, whether nice or not, and turn it into a hate comment, giving themselves a reason to hate us.
I once replied to a Dislestia shipper on one of my sister's Fluttercord moments, I was being nice, reasoning with her, but in the end she gave me a middle finger icon and cussed me out in her goodbye. Honestly, I was just trying to ask why Discord didn't hang out with Celestia at ALL during the gala, and why his focus was solely on Fluttershy. Anywho, lol I just said: "Well f**k you too! 😜 Goodbye!" to her and she never replied.
Anyways, she blocked my sister and myself on her page because we ship Fluttercord, and my sister won their little debate(😂) on whether or not Fluttercord was canon.
Now, back to the subject, most Dislestia shippers, (emphasis on MOST) tend to be irrational and insensitive. Like, if you watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, there are 2 major ships, Kataang and Zutara. Kataang is canon, 100%, the characters in the ship are married and have kids. But people still ship Zutara and say it's canon, despite the fact that the show shot it down many times, the characters it involved even reacted negatively to its implications. That's how Dislestia shippers tend to act, even with Meghan McCarthy saying Dislestia is not canon, and will never happen, they still say it is.
So for some, it's a hopeless cause. And the people who said that are usually haters, trolls, or bullies, looking for a negative reaction from the Fluttercord shippers so they have a reason to bash us.
Moral of the story? If you want to reply to that comment, go ahead, but be positive and don't give in AT ALL to negative emotions. It's hilarious how angry they get when you don't react negatively to insults and incentives. And in the end, they usually get frustrated and end the discussion. But of course, it's better not to start the conversation at all.
Either way, do what you will, everyone fighting for Fluttercord is a noble soul. But be smart and careful, resist their prodding, and attempts to incite an immature reaction from you, and be humorous. I look forward to seeing your results in any case. Have fun and be happy!

Well....to be honest it would be best to not say anything at all really. Many, many, Dislestia shippers I have seen are haters and bullies, and if you say anything against what they believe, they'll just rant and refuse to listen to you. I have been cussed out, told that I should take down my FlutterCord stuff for my own good, and that I had no right to post anything against Dislestia, and harassed by the Dislestia shippers. The best thing to do is ignore them. I love everybody, I hate the ship, not the shippers, most Dislestia shippers hate anyone who ships FlutterCord and not for a good reason at all, and no one has been able to prove Dislestia at all. Anyways, you should just ignore it. If people see there posts, there going to see that there haters, and thats going to be used against them. Saying anything to them would be kinda pointless, cause there are likely to just ignore you and then rant about how stupid you are or how disgusting you are for shipping FlutterCord. So it's best to just leave it alone and ignore it. If they wanna behave like children who throw fits because they don't get what they want? It's fine let them wine, there attitude can be used against them. The thing that proves all of them wrong, is Meghan said herself Dislestia wasn't going to happen, but most Dislestia shippers refuse to believe and even some told me that she was lying or playing with them but when I ask how they know they don't reply. If you want more advice for what you should do? You can also ask my sister, she's very good with these things.

Well, I do think it looks good. And besides, as the artist, you get to see all the little 'issues' with the picture as it happens, so you're biased to think it looks bad anyway. Other people get a more broad view from the get-go, so their viewpoints are much different.
On the end of that, keep up the pretty pictures! There's apparently another Discord episode coming this season, so I can't wait to see how you use that one for a picture. At least, that's what I've been led to believe...

Oooh! Maybe it's an episode about Discord's past? That would be cool, or if it's FlutterCord, than it might focus on Fluttershy an her feelings for him like someone noticing her feelings and she's like "what about Discord?" But I have a feeling it most likely will be about Discord and his past.

Yeah, seems it'll most likely be based on Discord, but I've a lot of theories as to what the episode could be about, ranging from (yes) his past becoming a plot point, to the Mane 6 wondering what he's been up to 'behind their backs' now that he's free, to Discord maybe trying to earn his throne in Twi's Friendship Council thing (after all "what about Discord? Where's his throne?" lol), to maybe Discord or the Mane 6 contemplating more on why Celestia had Discord freed (or staying free), even after seeing how he acted in the Tirek incident, or maybe what else she has him do? I don't know, but I know the episode will be good nonetheless.
