Beautiful puzzle/adventure game with a powerful soundtrack. It's very VERY well put together and hours of fun!

cool drawing I just finished the game and I have to say the game was fantastic

I think I read somewhere in the game that the queen's father was the one who was releasing the specters. (You can read it in the library on the faded pages with card suits in)
Now that could mean that the Batter might be intentionally releasing these specters just so that he can be a hero later in the end (since he's able to kill them as well) which could mean that the Batter is the Queen's father.
If not, then the father and the Batter might be two completely different people and the queen would be his with instead.
I'm not sure if I'm missing any important detail, (please tell me if I missed anything) but I did notice that no one talks about the lore in the cards from the library when it comes to this.

It's slightly confirmed that The Batter and Vader Eloha are "creations" of Hugo, and Hugo is their child. So maybe They are a married couple.

Fun Fact: There was a DRASTIC mistranslation in the English version. Hugo created The Batter and The Queen. He made them to be his parents.

ya i heard about that, I think it comes from the ambiguity of the french words "femme" and "fil", which means "wife" and "son" (as in the game's translation), but can also just mean "woman" and "boy"
