Just finished, I was amazed
When I completed the regular run, I already loved the game, but after playing the Solstice Run, I think this game is on par with UndertaleΒ

I lost about my entire weekend to playing both the original plot and then the Solstice chapter! Β Flippin' INCREDIBLE! Β I agree with too, that if there is any plan for a 'OneShot 2' that it has Latin references and some uses of the Latin language in the game, and liking their idea of a premise as well.

If there is going to be a sequel to all this, somewhat like a OneShot 2, I would hope for Latin references such as Sol Invictus (unconquered sun) and some use of the language within the game. Sure Niko is back, but what would happen if something came to his world and put it risk, and must jump between the OneShot world and his world for clues, parts, and blueprints to put something together to make sure the multiverse stays intact?

Nope, but that's nice to know. I actually played the ol' classic version on a laggy laptop a long time ago, and it worked perfectly there.
And, i always mispell "PC" with both PCs and laptops, sorry for any confusion xP

Waiting for the big clock to tick down at the moment! I'll try to be as light on spoilers as possible for those browsing the comments.
Once again, Oneshot is bringing out emotions I didn't expect to be having. Very heavy feeling of things not being right, not going how they should. It's interesting to see new sides of familiar characters though. Maize surprised me with her resolve and strength. Even characters with just a few lines are nice to check in on again. The goat club lady, the clock, and the scarf-wearing TV are all favorites of mine. Haven't run into my all-time favorite, the heater robot, though. Who knows, maybe I'll see him later. All the characters in Oneshot, big or small, feel so alive and endearing.
I liked when the game referenced what I did at the end of my last playthrough. A very nice touch. For a second I was thinking 'Wait, I hid that file, how do they know?' The game had nearly made me forget that the document isn't really how the game saves progress. I'm still keeping them though. They represent events that happened, iterations of the world that did exist. They have meaning to me.
One small thing. To avoid spoiling comment readers I'll have to be very vague. A point in the mines where Niko asks me if something is true. I can say yes or no. Usually I go for the truthful option whenever possible in these situations, but this time... I said No. Not because I wanted to tell Niko a comforting lie, but because it isn't true to me. The world of Oneshot and all the characters within matter to me. Being a game doesn't make that fake. I understand why I couldn't say that to Niko in the context of the story at that point though. I hope there's some way for them to understand it anyway.
All in all, it's obvious that a lot of effort went into this update. New events, new art, heaps of new dialogue, even some semi-new songs (Hope those get on the Bandcamp soon!)
When the clock ticks down, I'll have one shot. For both Niko and the world, I'll do my best.
Edit: Just finished, was amazing. My only complaint is that the countdown for the door stops if you close the game. I thought that since the countdown had never reacted to me closing the game before, it would be safe to give Niko a nap. Whoops, guess who had to wait 6 hours instead of 3.
