Obsidian: Kuroyami Sakanoue (based on 4-tailed kyubi state Naruto)
Light-Wraith, absorbs light energy and shadow projection

When a Spectrum Lantern becomes pregnant, the fetus is automatically cocooned in a protective sphere of energy for the duration of the pregnancy of whichever ley line wavelength that particular lantern in attuned with. If the child is born and its umbilical cord severed, it instantly begins to absorb all ambient light in its immediate vacinity. the absorption of light causes the subject to be completly black in appearance. the subject feeds off of light energy. This is what happened to the first-born child of Green Lantern Hanami and earthman Atsuo Sakanoue. For years, Atsuo "fed" his son with his homemade "sentinel" lightsuit. as the child got older, he would venture out, and occasionally his father would retrieve him. At some point, he escapes from his father's custody and seeks to eplore the world he was cut off from for years. He would eventually, and ironically come across his star-crossed twin sister...

Jade: Jade Sakanoue (based on the Ame comi design)
natural affinity to manipulate ley line spectrum green energies without light suit

after the Spectrum lantern retrieval squad arrived on earth to reclaim the awol Hanami, they discoverd they were too late to stop her from giving birth to a light-wraith. they transported her back to Oa where they applied a technique where the remaining infant was birthed into a secondary energy bubble allowing her to be weened off of the energy. Jade grew up on Oa never having known her mother. she was trained from an early age to grow up to be a member of the Corps. She was assigned to the team alongside friend Kaio, as a Violet Lantern. She was an excpetional soldier, but not very good at manipulating her given spectrum. after meeting Hari Jouon of earth, she would sometime after be given a furlough to visit her father's homeworld. Kaio would return with her and there she would learn that she was better with the green spectrum (also part of why she was attracted to him). She return's to the core as a Green Lantern and is given her own squad

Batwoman: (based on a Code Geass character)
this mystery character will emerge during the battle for the cowl-esqe storyline...

Takaharu: Akifumi Takaharu
the former samurai trainer used to work for Tomihiro Watanabe. he was discharged from service prior to the noble's assasination. He carries a boken, wooden training sword as he no longer uses samurai steel. his outfit is similar to Nightwings after he trains with his former comrades the samurai monks of the Bloodhaven monastery.

Lotus Ling: (based on Ta Nyan from Queen's Blade:Rebellion and is the DBZ equivalent of adult Chi Chi)

Lotus Ling is the daughter of a famous Chinese General. She was made to compette in Wushu tournaments throughout her childhood. she grew to detest violence and she grew up to become an investigative reporter. on one assignment, she went against her editor's direct orders and exposed a major contributer to the paper. as punishment, her editor made her cover a martial arts tournament called Man of Steel as punishment. She is totally turned off by one of the stars of the tournament and sarcastically calls him Superman when she rejects his advances. the name sticks and when he wins, her editor assigns her to find out more on this martial arts champion who has taken to doing good deeds.

Jinpei Orusun: (based on Krillin from DBZ)

i wanted Superman' pal to look like goku's! the pete ross character pedoro roppongi is based on DB era krillin and the fact that Jinpei reminds Kento of him is part of why they become close friends. He's an intern @ lotus' job.

Krypto: (based on Disney's Bolt)
Kryptonian canine with the same powers as Superman

in the science lab that was housed on Warworld that created Doomsay, another project was running to create Dogs Of War for Darkseid's Agents of Apokalips. The experiment was deemed a failure and the test subject discarded. When Superman and Darkseid battle on Warworld, the battle concluded with the two combatants unable to move while a self destruct device was primed to blow. Supergirl had gotten the rest of the earth fighters and the martian manhunter out and into orbit far away from the blast. superman realized he would be killed by the force of the blast, but at the last second a blur spirited him away from the explosion. he woke up on the ship Kaori had acquired from the steel lord's temple with the rest of his friends. his savior was a small dog that had a small broken canister with the only legilble letters k-r-y-p-t-o...

Mendozia:
this is the Hellgate guardian's shcool uniform after she and her partner begin to attend the school with the other girls.

Orania:
school uniform for the other Hellgate guardian. She joins the schools newly formed Trap Shooting Team. She is the resident rebel.
