So I realized I pretty much only post MLP here and thought why not post some SU here as well to balance things out?. So here's a concept I've been working on for a corrupted Jet.

He used to be a therapist for soldier/warrior Gems (Jet's properties include warding off negative energies and protecting against nightmares and stress), but during the Rebellion, he ended up stranded on earth corrupted in this form.

He's found by the Crystal Gems and takes a liking to Steven, mainly because before the War, he loved Rose Quartz and longed to side with her, but was too afraid of being shattered to actually switch sides. He deeply regrets that he didn't switch, so his love for and protectiveness of Steven is partly a subconscious effort to make up for that.
