Nexus ~ A World of Connection.The very first look at my comic in the making.
Some characters have sense changed looks since this drawing but not too terribly much. Ramos, the guy in far front, the leader is more golden, since he IS "The Golden One" and less brown, this was my very first color adaptation of him, thus, yeah, mistakes.
And I need some serious clothing training, I cant color dark clothing well at all. XD
Refs used for the wolves, as I wanted them to be as realistic for this drawing as I could get. My style is a bit too illustrationy for my liking right now, so ive been drawing from a lot of photos, some ive taken, some friends have taken, others from the *coughdozenscough* wolf books I have.
From left to right;
Karasume, Fire-Eyes, IceStorm, Rhao, Avirra, Eywen, Zorn, FrostFur, Marra, and Ramos the Golden One in front.
Very top is Fire-Eyes and Karasumes eyes, and their respective worlds.
Summary of the story.
“In a world called Inon, a fantastical journey awaits an extraordinary pack of wolves blessed with magical abilities and special adaptations. Ruled dominantly by gifted Wildlife, this planet is thrown into disarray when a mighty Shogun Mage from another world travels through space and time to follow his exiled enemy through a portal.
The world is plunged into chaos as the Shogun gathers his forces, while his nemesis, Karasume stumbles upon the destined packs territory. Who will prevail?”
Pages will start hoping by the end of this month. Working on color!

Aw, thank you! Im trying hard to get back into actually drawing it. Im just currently stuck with comic block. I can draw normal stuff, but when it comes to my comic, im mentally stuck. ;_; Sooo hopefully gonna get back to that this weekend. I hope.

Aw, I hope you can get the inspiration and drive for yours! My issue mainly is time and having the energy. ive alwaysgot the drive and motivation, its just sitting down and figuring out how to draw the scenes. My graphic novel is all scripted, its complete, its just getting it all drawn now, and being stuck on a scene because I cant figure out how to draw it how I see it, gets infuriating. 
But I do wish you the best for yours! And yeah, getting it started is the hardest part, I think. it definitely took me forever!

Yup, time is a huge problem for me, as well (especially since I'm in the final year of this school...)
I had this week off, but that didn't mean that I could actually do something for myself.
I spent an awful amount of time doing schoolwork...
But, I do hope that I can start something soon!
Of course, I also hope that things will get better for you, as well~

Right now I only have some ideas in mind for small comics... I still don't know what I want to make a big one about. (unless I take that story I once made when I was 12.... Don't think that's a good idea.)

Hahaha. I made a short story in middle school.. I think it was middle, that or first year of high school, and it was so good my english teacher wanted me to publish it as a childrens story. Id still like to someday, if I can find it. I still have it in my old file SOMEWHERE. Haha. Revamp it big time and make it into that childs book.
And multiple mini comics are awesome! Im sure youll have some great ideas.

Well, first I will have to finish the story I am writing for a friend, but then I can work on the mini comics~~ (If I won't get distracted by Skyrim or something, that is.)
And.... well, the story I made back then doesn't make a lot of sense and is heavily inspired by the Ginga series. (With dragons mixed in.) But it's fun, and I'm going to make the comic with the sole purpose of practicing drawing, and... well, there's not really any reason not to do it? (except for time.... if only we could stop time for a while....)

Woop woop! After a very long time of waiting I have finally finished the first page!! I think the comic will update biweekly but I'm not sure yet - however, it's something I'm trying to follow.

Your style and talent continue to change and evolve and I love that I've had the opportunity to experience every second of it. This piece is amazing and must've been a lot of hard work...love it.

I miss TAB too, and my other group I continue to try to keep going. Havnt had time to post in a few months now and feel horrid, but were only 6 ppl, so its really small. Wanna join? lol. Though I doubt you have a whole lot of time either. XD I gave up on TAB because I just dont have time for much online anymore other than trying to get websites going for my art so I can hopefully someday get out of retail and do art for a living via commission work and gallery hangings. And thats hard work. So I gave up TAB and am trying VERY hard to stay active in my ONE other group that always held my Heart. Wolves Unlimited. Where the idea of Nexus was born back in 2001.

Yeah, im so dang busted busy I dont have much time for anything. Just trying to get my art off the ground is a struggle in and of itself! But im trying.

It sounds like the perfect place for me. Doesn't require too much frequent commitment lol. You'll have to tell me which half of me would fit in best: Lakota or Husky.

And that depends, its a magical world with magical beasts. I play several characters there. Not NEARLY as much as with TAB, but still *counts* 8 characters, plus more with the humans im gonna start posting with for the current plot. XD I play three winged, magical wolves there, along with a SLIGHTLY magical wolf, he doesnt really have any super power, just that he can listen to and kindve control wind. Then theres my little boy character who travels with the wolf just mentioned, then I play two VERY powerful (their like gods) magic protectors that are a fox and a jaguarundi. :3 And an evil scientist dude from a plot back in its hayday of 2002!
So really, anything you wanted to bring in, you could. There are other winged wolves, magical wielding canines, demon wolves and even a demon who shapeshifts. And a dragon wolf. Were a mixed bag of awesome. But even though were a 'magical' bunch, there are rules. And we play as realistically as we can. ^_^ Sound like your cup of tea, Huskers? :3

I've never done a RPG like that, but I'm very intrigued. I certainly wouldn't mind watching from the sidelines a bit to get a feel of the place and see if I could be creative enough for it!

By all means, I'd be more than happy to hear your character idea! I'm still reading and getting my bearings, but I have a tiny idea of what I want to do. That doesn't mean your idea wouldn't be better, though!

Mine is the fact that you could play one of the siblings from Ramos and IceStorm. The alphas. The pups are little over 2 years old now, I play Meadowlark, and Cardi plays Paxal, also called Toxic Sunrise by the Atala kingdom, where he was adopted during his travels. There are two more siblings, a male and a female. You could create the history of whats happened to him/her on their travels when they left the pack, their name, and color, as long as its a variation of white, gold, tawny or black. Any variation, or solid of those. Since Ramos is "The golden one" hes a mixture of golds and browns, IceStorm is solid white. Eye color can be anything. paxals is the same as IceStorms, blue. Meadows is orchid.
The powers all the pups inherited would be mixtures of earth magic and storm magic.

Anywho, sent a friend request. However, do not feel obligated to accept if you don't want to. It will absolutely not hurt my feelings! I know I'm very particular about who I'm friends with there, so I don't take offense to having people keep in touch with me via other places.
Your idea has my brain ticking. When I began to think up a character, I wound up brainstorming things that are quite close to Ramos, so creating a son would work out well. Personality and specific history and physical details I'm still working on...is fire considered earth magic or magic at all?

The basic storyline is, he would think of Fire-Eyes, as bitter as she can be, as an aunt, it was only his Mother, IceStorm, and Fire-Eyes who raised and taught the 4 pups. All but Meadowlark set off on their own life journeys when they were about a year and half old. They would be now 2 and a half, so its been a year since theyd been gone.
Everyone at the pack now they would not know. They were told stories of Rim and Zorn because they were part of the pack before the human invasion and portal mess with the navy and the scientists. But they were not there upon their birth. Theyve been told stories of their father, but they dont know what he looks like since theyve never seen him. Ramos was never there, until now,f or his pups. If youve been reading, you know how remorseful he is about this. And its hilarious because hes been traveling with one of his sons this whole time and doesnt know it. XD So thats going to be fun to play out. But as for the ones like the demon wolves on the outskirts, the interweavers, Finely and Rowan and Mordick, and Dzur, no stories, so they would only know as much as the pack currently knew, upon asking. Just for some history for your little guy.
Fire is an elemental magic, yes. Fire-Eyes, my cave keeper, is a fire elemental. Your character could control fire if you wanted, he could always inherit that from one of Ramos's bloodline, all of IceStorms family were ice and water elementals, so he wouldnt get it from her.
