Description Never stand under a tree (further in the foreground) during a lightning storm, and this is probably the reason why. It doesn't have to strike just once during the taking of a picture - each "tree" some 3x hotter than the Sun's surface. This display was receding from me from A FEW miles away. Quite blinding?

What's so amazing is how all that detail of lightning happens in less than a second. But I'll also take a bow.

Opposite, I loved it! Sorry for the odd language but that's what came to my mind. Believe me it isn't a bad expression where I am from.
