its the weekend again so its time to do some artwork for my own personal collection.seeing as the holiday season is rapidly approaching i thought i should add something more festive to my gallery. i really love the nutcracker story & it always gets me in the holiday spirit so this is my toon version of a nutcracker figure we have at home & put out on display every Christmas.

This play had a more personal meaning for my family. Mainly because my brother was one of the performers in the annual holiday ballet, "The Nutcracker," from 1989-1994 with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra by Iacob Lascu, a celebrated dancer, choreographer and ballet master.

I'm a big fan of the Nutcracker as well. Every Holiday season I see a presentation of it at a local theatre and its always lovely. Thank you for sharing this wonderful picture with us and for spreading the story of the Nutcracker for everyone
