Actually I decided to give this lovely model ported by SumireHaikuXNA a try because I knew how much trouble she had with the hair - recreating it from nothingness, breaking it apart again that XPS can load it, trying to rig it - it was a pain to get Elise fixed up. We had assumed from the start that XPS and other softwares might have troubles loading this amount of vertices and that's why I decided to test it. While XPS is reacting a bit slower than usual it can still handle the model pretty well. Blender Cycles took a while to load the obj into but it got it done too - I just had to remember to save more often.

And the model is a wonderful piece of work! She is magnificent!

For the tech-geeks: I use a Asus Z87-Pro Motherboard, with an i7-core, 16 GB RAM and I'm rendering with a Gigabyte GeForce 970 Windforce 3 on a Samsung SSD.
