Claire should have known from the start, that doing Chris a favour would get her in trouble. That Jill couldn't do it, had been clear because her face had been all over the news in the last few weeks after her promotion to vice-director of the BSAA, but did Chris really have to ask his sister then? This whole thing had been the overkill. Claire working as a waitress in a nightclub to gather information about a terrorist-group. A strip-nightclub where the waitresses wore nearly as much or less as the strippers. Claire had the information they needed and after she had given them to Chris she would either strangle him or kick him in the... family jewels... Claire was just glad that Leon hadn't been home the last two weeks, because he had been sent to Europe with a team of the BSAA to take out a laboratory.

Claire pulled up in the driveway and realized that her luck had just run out. Leon's heavy SUV stood in front of the garage and the house was well lit. "Looks like lady luck is bitch," Claire growled. The only chance she had now, was to pray that Leon was in the shower right now, that she could slip into the bedroom to get out of this clothes. She really didn't want to explain right now, why was was running around in leather and latex. Redfield grabbed the Sushi she had bought on the way home and made her way to the front door. She listened for second, then she slipped inside, brought the Sushi into the kitchen, listened for a sound and raced out of the kitchen to get on the first floor... and crashed into Leon in hallway.

"Woah, easy Red... why the... hurry..." Leon looked at Claire with eyes like saucers. "What the hell are you wearing?"

For a moment Claire looked for an answer, then she realized that Leon was standing in front of her with his trousers, boots and holsters, but no shirt. "I could ask you the same thing," she replied weakly, knowing that Leon still wore his tactical stuff and she would loose this game.

Leon raised a brow. "I asked you first!"

Claire sighed. "Where are Castor and Svea?"

"The cat and the dog are in the living room and you avoid my question!" Kennedy answered and crossed his arms in front of his chest. He wasn't angry just highly amused by the fact that this was obviously more than embarrasing for Claire. He wouldn't tell Claire, that he found that outfit awesome - she looked so hot in it... and when he was thinking in this line a bit further he would need a few ice-cubes that he could stuff into his trousers. Another sigh escaped Redfield and in a few quick words the explained Kennedy why she was wearing these clothes of nothingness. When she was done, Leon grinned. "Was that so hard?" he asked.

Claire blinked. "You are not angry?" she asked.

"Why should I be?" Leon asked perplexed. "Sure I'm not so pleased about the fact that other guys see you like this, but this stuff is looking so wow on you and on the other hand. I know you would break the bones of those who try to touch you."

"You-are-a-meanie!" Claire growled and pronounced every word.

"That's why you love me," Leon grinned and kissed her on the lips. "But before I rip these clothes of you for funnier things. You got something to eat? I'm starving."

Claire laughed. "Yeah, the Sushi is in the kitchen. I picked it up on the way home and... *Snip* Why's it so dark at once? Do we have a blackout?"

Leon looked around him. "Looks like it."

"Did you pay the bills?"

"Oh please," Leon growled and walked towards a window. The whole street was dark, the street-lamps included. With a sigh he walked to the cupboard and took out two candles. Claire just laughed, took the Sushi and followed Leon into the living room. They sat as close as possible to the window on the floor, to get a bit more light from the moon while Leon lighted the candles. When both were comfortable they started to eat but suddenly, Leon took Claire's face into his hands and kissed her passionatly on the lips. Claire returned the kiss with everything she had until both were breathless and slightly flushed.

But when they opened their eyes, the Husky Svea and the cat Castor had both vanished into thin air... and the Sushi with them...
