Claire Redfield knew, the whole idea had been a bad one, when she jumped through the glass window of the third story floor. Breaking into a pharmaceutical laboratory was one thing – she had done that before. But doing that in a jeans, and a short T-Shirt – again – was absolutely idiotically. She hadn’t told her brother Chris or her partner Leon what she was planning, because the whole thing was about finding evidence for TerraSave – it had nothing to do with the BSAA or the agency Leon was working for. She had sent Leon a short mail before entering the building – which she left in a not very common way. And her prayers had been answered, because a black-chrome motorbike was standing on the other side of the street, the engine running... together with a more than pissed looking Leon. But both knew that they hadn’t time for an argument now, because Claire had to get out of the city before the authorities could get a hold on her. The only thing Leon did, was stopping by at a lonely house – looking around for about ten minutes than he broke into it to get a hold onto a First-Aid-Kit and running water to patch Claire up – at least so far that he could take her to Rebecca for the rest.

They still had to get through a few bigger cities and even in the night, the white bandages on Claire’s torso and her arms were visible. Leon was chasing through the streets with his Silver Ghost in one hand – in case they had been followed.

“Tell me one thing, Claire,” Leon growled. “Why did you have to do this?”

“We needed proof that they are experimenting with the T-Virus,” defended Claire.

“Claire – I thought you learned after the disaster in Paris, that breaking into the buildings of such companies is a bad idea. Now I have to get you out of the country... or better out of Europe as fast as possible. Your luck, that I have been sent here because of another investigation,” answered Kennedy.

“If you have to get me out of the country – wouldn’t it have been a better idea to take a less noticeable bike?” asked Claire.

“I didn’t took it because of the looks but the speed – it was the fastest motorbike I could get in that short time... and I removed the license plate,” remarked Leon and changed the gear before speeding up again. “Why am I always trying to get you out of trouble, Redfield? Give me one good reason!”

“Because you love me?”

“... Damn...”

After messing up the lights in another version I thought I’ll stick with that one. Why do I always try to make nighttime pic’s? I rendered the whole picture twice with the nightlights and once in daylight – maybe I’m doing a second version...
