The movement is amazing in this piece! I love the way the tall trees draw your eye up through the image.
Really well done!

I must say!
This work is really stunning, the phantom fog captured the eerie dynamic which totally nailed it!
The background is really lovely! It really supports to the eerie approach of the fog!
I can't find any other ways to improve it simply because I can't really notice much mistakes at all.
Really well done!

I so love it. I really want to hang it in my house in my bathroom...sounds weird but that's one of the rooms in my house that has the most art and also has a deep orchid purple and all shades of blue color scheme...especially light blues If not I'd put it in my living room...that has a cultural but very nature theme...maybe it needs a fog monster to spice it up lol.
Either way just YES. In the words of Drew Carey during WLIIA: "More, more, more!"

Hehe why not! As an artist it really flatters me that you like it that much
Our bathroom is covered in tiles so you canΒ΄t hang anything there but we have a pretty long corridor, I use it to hang up all the artworks I have to print for university. Though IΒ΄m not sure my housemates enjoy bird concept art as much as I do I also love blueish cyan. The color although it is actually quite saturated is so well to combine with all sorts of other strong or pastel colors. I hope it will live up to your expectation and I will keep on creating more artworks!

I'm sure you will . We have a hallway, but my fiancΓ© has already covered it in all sorts of cool things we've found.

I love the color scheme and it is a very good drawing and I understand your reasoning. However, the horsemen for me, gave an eeary feeling to the entire mood of the picture. Living near woodlland it was something right from my nightmares when I was a kid

Yes I know what you mean ... the horseman kind of made the focus of the picture shift back and forth but they added an extra layer of meaning. IΒ΄m pretty sure it can be done and IΒ΄m still thinking about doing a second version of it or a new version to try if I can capture that eeriness youΒ΄re taking about. Hmm maybe IΒ΄ll do something similar with a different beast.
Anyway, thank you very much for the critic, I always like to hear some honest feedback!

Oh wow! This is just awesome!!
Even though there's only one color in many tones I feel like this is really well done. Love how defined the dragon's face is and the rest is almost like just a feel. Like it's a sort of ghost asian dragon but the environment is even more ghostly than itself.
I love it. Seriously. One of your best in my opinion

That's an interesting composition.
It has definite presence and blends with the setting, becoming part of it.
It's believable, which gives it substance.
I agree with your conclusion on the horsemen and keeping the image uncluttered.

Thanks I waverd a lot about the horseman.... in the sketch they worked fine but the more I worked them out the more the started to become distracting.

- you made the right decision.
It's tempting often to add something, then perhaps something else, a little bit more.
However it distracts from the impact, obscuring your original intent.
I prefer to go with instinct, stick to what you first intended, then know when to stop.
It creates a more powerful impression.

Thanks! Yes I often try variations of my sketches and wip and then in almost all cases return to my original idea. I guess I will do something that has a similar mood with horseman and some beast in the future.
