Description
So I decided to redesign and redraw my main character dragoness Nihalla. Overtime I grew to dislike the previous version which I created as it was made with a mouse and when I was starting to get more serious in drawings. If you want to check it out click here . It could also show you the difference and improvement in my drawings over the span of a year. It was a special journey for me to find my style, and original way to draw, to crate an oc which could represent ME, to create my own logo/watermark. Over so little time all of this really grew on me and without noticing I starting loving and putting more care into Nihalla. Once I saw that in the contest created by I would get a gift for entering more than two drawings and for offering a prize I instantly knew I should send the reference sheet for my dear Nihalla.... but I couldn't send THAT old garbage. Most of her features remain the same, but some are really changed (the tail, wing top, wing for, cheek fin) or even removed. I really wanted her to look as pretty as possible ^^

So a little bit about the reborn(renewed) Nihalla

Physical appearance:

A mostly western like dragon with some different features. Nihalla is the height of 16 meters and 90 centimeters, she is almost fully grown, but her height may increase over time as she grows. I understand that in different resources dragons height varies from small to huge numbers, but what I have probably never mentioned is that most of MY dragons live in a different world called Uzurynari (pronounced Uz-rynari you can check it here ) or it can also be called The land of beauty. I might someday draw an official map of that world with all the seas, oceans, islands and the mainland. But back to Nihalla, her scales remain purple, as it's shown in the color bubble, with black markings. She has red leather cheek fins, head and chin fins, wings and tail fin (for drawing stuff I color her with the red which is shown in the bubble and set it to opacity 70%.) She still has silver armor plates on her belly and all four legs. On her wings from now on she has a trihorn. The two horns from the sides spiral around the middle one. I also understand that you can be like "Dahell you only provided only one color for horns while the ones on the head look nothing like the color" Well I can understand how it can seem so, but actually the horns, spikes(except the ones on the neck, they are black) and claws use the same color, but are shaded differently which could cause the confusion . She has some fur going from almost the top of her neck to the chest, just to be cozy Her wings start to spark when she flies, so it looks like she leaves a small scattered flame trail after her, but when she walks or is standing still her wings are normal. Her eyes are hetero, but it's not natural, once she was young she still had normal eyes (red with black slit), but after some "stuff" happened, her right eye became black with a red slit giving the hetero look. It's more of a scar than a natural eye. Going back to the trihorn, claws and the spikes on her elbows you can see soft blue stripes coming across them. They are permanent, but start glowing when Nihalla is extremely happy or fully relaxed. In the sheet it self I showed half of her body hence only two legs, one wing etc., how her hetero eyes look (not an actual representation of the face facing forward as the eyes are more on the sides than the front, I just didn't want to make them seem derpy so I added a bit of a face) and three of her emotions, happiness , sadness  and anger or rage  just to show her with emotions and not just like a husk.

Personality and overall more about Nihalla:

So Nihalla overall is a super calm and peaceful dragon with no ill intents, but as a lot of creatures, she can get enraged. Nihalla is more of a loner than a social dragon, she fears rejection and being left alone, so she doesn't give anyone a chance to do it. She does become more crazy (in a good way) with her dragon buddies which she feels comfortable with, but if it's anyone else she would rather stay to herself. Nihalla does have short temper, but she never lashes out at others, she does it in her mind usually xD  But it is also caused by other things... Nihalla isn't a "normal" dragon, it doesn't show, but sometimes you can notice presences which aren't herself... I wasn't sure if I wold ever say this, but Nihalla is more of an amalgamation of 4 dragons, which show her four core inner feelings. One of them is Soliana... Surprise So Soliana, which is the only core dragon I have drawn, is Nihalla's rage, anger, it's the part which wants to kill anything in sight... The other core dragon is Nayla, a scary looking dragon, but actually the part of Nihalla which is caring about everyone surrounding her, her family and close friends, Nayla is more like kindness. The third core dragon is named Varea, she's the part which makes Nihalla curious and calm, it's also the short temper part, but it usually never shows. The fourth and last core dragon is named Kaleona, it's her happiness and fun, more or less of a child part for Nihalla xD I am not sure if the core dragons actually exist in the same plain of existance and the same world as Nihalla, it wouldn't be possible, but that's the cool part about fantasy, it doesn't have to make sense. That's why the core dragons could be separate entities with their own backstories. A little bit more about her eyes. (I didn't know if I should write it now or later on, but I thught why not) As I mentioned Nihalla has hetero eyes, her normal eye is the red one with a black slit, but the question for the longest time.for me was what happened to cause a black eye with a red slit? Time to say it is.... dark matter, it may sound weird and confusing, but in Uzurynari dark matter on dragons appear for a reason. it is a sign from the highest ranked dragons the Galactic ones. Usually hatchlings which posses this type of matter on their body disappear at any time (more on that later on ) , but somehow Nihalla didn't, she lives a normal well "normal" life and the dark matter from a small blob turned her whole eye into dark matter. I know it might sound confusing, but I will say and show more in the future when I have time! I might also do a comic for her backstory (a small one)
