Description
Here is the third wave of my favorite characters. My last post for this project was last year ago D;So there was a point where I got hooked with shoujo-ai (okay, so yuri) and these were the few I really liked.
Kaiou Michiru [Sailor Moon] (c) Naoko Takeuchi
Tenou Haruka [Sailor Moon] (c) Naoko Takeuchi
This is probably my first Yuri couple ever. The fact that back then when I didn't even know what Yuri was. Anyway, they are a package deal so I am including them both. What is Haruka without Michiru? or vice versa - they were the twin planets, after all. Michiru has the beauty, elegance and is elite for her age. Haruka, on the other hand, looks good for a les. She was even my crush back then lol. Okay, and they were both rich.. well.. that seems to be amusing XD
Aihara Mei [Citrus] (c) Saburouta
I like her twisted personality. She is so mysterious that her expression might mean exactly the opposite of what she is thinking lol. Sooo stubborn and cold. And to cut it short, I also have this likings to Tsundere characters XD
This manga pleases me the most and is my best Yuri so far. The art was incredibly awesome - well detailed and neatly drawn. I like Mei but Yuzu's personality is quite interesting as well. At first, I thought she was typically clumsy and one of this good-for-nothing student but if you think again, she is even more sensible than Mei XD. Well, the manga isn't finished yet (progressing really slow) and it is driving me crazy already D;
Nanto Yaya [Strawberry Panic] (c) Chitose Maki
This girl deserves more love above anyone else in the series. I mean I always had a mini heartbreak everytime Yaya is being taken for granted by Hikari - friendzoned at its finest, you could think of that. Thoughts ran into my mind like "Oh C'mon Yaya-chan! Take me instead of this dumb girl who is an idiot and doesn't deserve even an inch of your love. Baka!".
About Strawberry Panic, the series was just fair. There were funny parts but at some point the story got so lame that I couldn't believe I finished it XD (you know just for the sake of finishing what you started). Especially at the end of the series when Shizuma recalls her first love and I actually reacted so many WTFs on those scenes because some of the acts got so absurd - on the anime, at least. Chikaru, on the other hand, is the only sensible character in my honest opinion

Lastly, I just wanted to share this with you guys some more Yuri/Shoujo Ai mangas, thought it is worth the share
Sasameki Koto, another shoujo ai manga that is REALLY worth mentioning. I watched and read the anime and manga and surprisingly, the anime was way too faithful to its manga which I say quite impressive. The art was good, story and its humor were better! Should I say more? Except for the stuborness of both characters (Kazama and Sumika - being tooooo reluctant to their own feelings), I really like it overall. Anime was abruptly finished at chap 12 (as far as I remember) so be sure not to miss the manga (it has around 50 chaps!)
The Feeling We All Must Endure. Yuri. No explicit stuffs but the idea is not being limited in words XD. Gives me real heartaches (during Sacchan and Ruki's complications) that makes it so hard to read! On the other hand, Remi-chan is the most interesting character for me. Too loose but well yeah, very insensitive. She's hard and is the one giving the twist to the story. You could actually wonder what she really wanted. I was amazed at the end when the author explained that each character is a representation of one of the seven deadly sins. Sugoi!
Fluttering Feelings. Slice of Life, Shoujo Ai manga - a korean one! The story was light and very relaxing for me. I got hooked up on how simple their relationship progresses - their friendship, before they even realised it, had grown into something really special
