Okay sooo... I spend a couple of days on this and am SO SO SO proud of it... it might just be the most detailed picture I ever made... the background was soooo much fun to make, and I made it all by myself, not using any stock imagies or anything...just this texture ([link] ) for the very back, even if that's hardly visible anymore.
Also, this might be the first picture that turned out to look like I had originally planned.
What do you guys think?

There's a well executed sense of confusion and tension I must say! The clocks in the background have such a montage-like feel to them.
The girl's expression and pose communicates her feelings very effectively

No no but you're right, it took a while and I got a little impatient towards the end, you can even see that I didn't have the nerve to color and shade her stockings properly anymore...

Ah, I can understand that. This piece is very paint-y, I often get very impatient when I've been working on a piece for too long X(

Yes, that's the main reasons I never finish most of my works...
In my gallery you can see that most of the WIPs I uploaded don't have a finished version. It's so hard to just keep on going.
But I must say this picture was definitely an amazing experience, because it showed me first of all, that it's mostly worth the effort and secondly it's taken from me the fear of making pictures with big, complicated backgrounds, I never had the guts to do that before because I always thought it would look shitty.
