Oh it was nothing compared to what happened a few hours after...
I was at home, it was dark (at noon!) as if the sun was not there. Inpenetrable black storm clouds all around. Wind blowing, then lightnings, thunder and the rain. It was so thick that I could not see any building around. The wind made huge drops dance -- fly upwards, to the sides, swirl... The rain roaring, flashing lightnings across a dark sky, thunder so loud I swear I could feel its vibration in my guts. That was quite an experience. I thought rain drops might as well break my windows!
