These woods weren't known to be dangerous but anything could happen, it was not unknown for even kukuri to be cannibals and she would make a perfect snack, if not a little pointy and fluffy; The young rook called for her but heard no response, his nose served no better and the light was starting to fade, he needed to hurry.

A change in the wind allowed a scent to be carried to him and he followed it immediately before he'd lose it again; Before he knew it a flash of amber fur caught his eye Ulfa was finally in sight.. along with another. A young raven rook stood before her, curious of the female and she stared back at him, holding the Muri protectively in her arms and her tail raised, ready to leap should be needed.. but she felt no threat from this rook, he seemed confused if anything, as if he'd not seen another kukuri before. Qrow immediately distrusted him and readied himself to attack, his focus so strong on the rook that he failed to notice the looming figure of Ingrid behind him. Before he could even leap he was grabbed by scuff and held in the strong jaw of his aunt. The commotion broke the trance between Ulfa and the young rook, the dove looking up at her dam and the stranger disappearing into the forest. The harsh snort from her dam ordered her to come with her, to which she obliged before looking back one more time.
