I know and now it's been 1,5 years since he disappeared :\ It's looking kinda bad.. he might not return... but dang i hope he does ;_; I miss him way too much....!
Miharu IS the nabari's king. he should be able to wish Yoite back. And although all about his past and parents have been explained now, the fairy (shinrabanshou) inside him still isn't talking to him, so some people are speculating that Yoite is somehow within him, stopping the fairy from talking to Miharu.
Anyway there's a little story-thingie that has to be explained =w= hehe!

There are quite a lot theories what happened to Yoite, a lot say he was reborn in the black cat from Yukimi which has the same name.
I think there is a reason behind the fact that Miharu knows that something/somebody is missing. Yoite's existence didn't disappear completely from the world. I hope Miharu will remember someday (maybe when Shinrabanshou is used again, or being destroyed whatever) what happened back then.
If I'm not wrong (not sure if I read it in a fanfic or something) but didn't Miharu already remember he let a person disappear?

Yes, he remembers that he erased a person, but nothing more than that. The picture where he cried when he realised the empty hole inside of him was because of that person he erased.... aw, god, I always cry when I see that picture >_<
I don't think Yoite's reincarnated into the cat because that cat was born before Yoite disappeared. He'd have to be sharing body with the cat otherwise. I think it's just the author's way of having people remember Yoite, especially seeing as the Yoite-cat is even in the character table in the beginning of each chapter even now, described as "A cat who is named after a special person and who links to a boy named Tsukasa."
You should read the newest chapters ^^ I follow it so-so carefully. But the fandom has sure dropped quite some readers after Yoite disappeared. :\ But there's still some heated discussions on the mangafox forums

I didn't notice the Yoite-cat character table, totally have to look for the one, oh my how hard...
Yeah I know I should I think I stuck at chapter 54 or something like that. I had to wait for new chapters to appear and then I forgot to look from time to time if some new ones were released. But I totally will check it out this week. Somehow this whole discussion with you motivates me to read them immediately.
I think it's really sad that NnO never had a really big fandom. It's one of the greatest mangas I've ever read, but almost nobody I know actually read the manga or saw the anime. It's hard when you can't discuss such things with your friends >.<
Hopefully I will ever get the motivation to finish the NnO-Doujinshi I was planning. Ahh but my endurance is the worst ^^'

By character-table, I mean the character presentations in the beginning of each chapter. Like, the "what's happened until now". I hope I was clear enough o_O;
I also got stuck on a chapter and didn't read it for 4 months or so, but my drive to see Yoite again and also cause I want to keep track of Miharu makes me read the new chapters when they're out. It also helps to have a RSS feed XD
But granted, there's no sign of him coming back yet.
Indeed, it's sad that there's not many fans :\ But i've recently seen random Yoite pictures here and there on the internet, so at least it's not unpopular 
I also have a doujinshi I've been wanting to draw for over a year. I just don't have time to draw that too, and I'm not good at drawing the Nabari style DX It's so different from mine...

Well, at least we can hope that Yoite is coming back one day ^^
Oh well, if I really would, I could make some time to draw an the doujinshi, but mostly I'm to lazy to get started ^^' I just draw fanarts and stuff in my style, and try to let the characters look not too off from their original style ^^'

That's what I did especially when I read the manga. His story is so touching and sad. I cried a lot while reading it, my heart ached a bit. He is one of my favourite characters ever. I don't think I was touched by the story of someone else as much as I was about Yoite's

Waaah you're great at watercolor! *__* I can almost feel Yoite's despair.. ugh, makes me want to hug him. >< Do you use a super thick paper or do you have a super powerful scanner or something? :/ The paper grains never show on mine. I think my scanner sucks actually... ;__;

My scanner is not the best, but it could be worser. And yeah I used some really thick Canson Aquarell Paper for this one
