something traditional. I decided to learn how to do portraits.at first I was content of the result, but now I don't know. There is something terribly wrong with this....

This is a very beautiful portrait. Your skill with tones and shadows is very strong.
As for what might be "wrong " with it, you've elongated and slimmed his neck a bit too much, which makes him look younger and more effeminate.
