Cool! As for me I only put thin paper on my lamps and shoot away! Most photos of my figures were actually taken on top of my bed XD

I don't know about wax paper, but I used tracing paper

Thanks for this, I made up a sort of hand made light box but was having problems with setting it up quite right with the backdrop part of it.

I seriously think they should put your tutorial in the book, The Handmade Marketplace by Kari Chapin.
In the book's version of how to make a lightbox, they tell you to remove one of the sides and the top (leaving three sides and a bottom) and then covering the inside with white paper. Removing the top does allow a lot of natural light to enter, however, it doesn't help against glare. They tell you to diffuse the light by using sheer fabric or redirecting the light.
Your light box, however, already solves this problem by using tracing paper. For someone who doesn't know a lot about cameras, your version is much easier to use (you also have easy to follow visuals). Not to mention, it's great for someone on a very low budget.
Next, I'll try your other tutorials on the actual photographing. I can let you know how that goes as well. Thank you for making all this awesomeness
