just make sure your figure fits in it figma and nendoroids are short so a small box is enough for me

The length is 35 cm while the width and height are 25cm, I just used a regular cardboard box, it's enough for my figma

Can the translucent paper be any color too? Like, mabe yellow. Will that change the pciture color?

Oooh, I might use this technique when shooting my figures.
I always found it hard to get enough light to make it look good and the background always looked out of place.

Yup, I use a 60mm micro lens all the time for shooting my figures.
