A hunter and warrior in training for her pack but not very good at either, Cloudchaser, as her name implies, spends most of her days with her head in the clouds. She is a little skinnier than the rest of her pack due to her poor hunting but her family will never let her truly starve. This has not done her any favors in her training. It doesn't help that she is a shy and meek canine, even the youngest of her pack can easily steamroll over her and she would do little to fight back.

Cloudchaser is not the one for conflict and would let others lord over her with only mumbles and tiny pitiful glares being the most she would do. Her parents have often tried to bring her out of her shell but Cloudchaser has quite surprisingly resisted such attempts.

The only one who seems to get through to Cloudchaser is the terrifying (to her) rogue that her pack is reluctantly let live with them, Shaggy Mane. The big loner often follows Cloudchaser around, testing her on small hunts and needling her into fights with the bigger, older dog. Cloudchaser loses every time but she slowly starts to get better at least in terms of cunning. She still hasn't beaten Shaggy Mane but she has outwitted her a few times.

Always wanted to try at drawing a African Painted Dog, and boy was getting the color right a bit tricky. Though I seemed to have found a good mix between the colors to get it just right! I like how Cloudchaser came out. She's a nervous, shy girl but I already love her!
