lol, I wasn't really disapointed that much, now that I think about it, Aang told her about how Azula shotting him caused his chakras to lock up, but he still didn't tell anyone about him lying back there or having to let go of Katara.

lol. yup...before I watched DOB I thought that Aang never really talked about what went on w/ the Guru...plus Toph was on Appa when he told her and Sokka that he mastered it (I think?) so she didn't pick up on his lie.

I sort of hope this stays neutral, actually. I see this as more of Toph just giving Aang help when he needs it. Like a sister, y'know? I see Toph as Aang's sister.
Shipping aside, I was SO impressed with when you brought up the 'just a crush' thing. It's just interesting to see how helpless Aang feels with his feelings of love. They're quite real to him.
This continues to amaze me. Can't wait for the next installment!
