I’m still new to animating. So I’m thinking I’ll probably just end up studying simple animations like this one to get an idea of pacing between key frames.
**Sorry for low res. I’m not sure how to get the animation to play properly without lowering the quality of the frames.

having done some 3D animation back in the day myself , i can understand how frustrating animation can be , and i wish you the best of luck !!! i also think you've chosen a good method for improvement , and the results speak of that fact .

Tracing from reference makes for good practice. I like how you used it as a guideline and transformed Fluttershy into a whole 'nother entity. Looking forwarfs to seeing how your style comes out in multi-frames ^^

Ahh, sorry for the mistake - I thought that's what you meant by heavy reference.
And I can tell you practiced so much to where you are now, since you update/post pretty quickly lol
