you will remember that till you die. Europe needs a revolution, I see Dionisios and Apolo in all of you.
but what are you fighting for?

"Europe needs a revolution, I see Dionisios and Apolo in all of you."
Couldn't have said it better myself.

from what I can see, where I live, in Portugal everyone has the intimate desire of revolution but we are all apatic by television and videogames.

Not to mention the media diversions and farses: with all mediocre news being exaggerated to highlight apparent problems and dilemma's within society; whilst the press and media all too easily disguise the shocking realities of the failures and vulgar tendencies or the government and its representatives.
But like you said, apathy is rife, for whatever reason. It's not like anyone can blame lack of education for it anymore either; in my opinion, it all comes down to fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of repercussions; when in reality - and i'm sorry but I have to quote Marx here - all we have to lose are our chains.

and the politics have fear to lose their chairs...
from the trail of the latest movie with jim carrey, YES, MAN! maybe it's a nice pretext to lose our chains.
sometimes I want to blow up some tv stations here in Portugal.

"from the trail of the latest movie with jim carrey, YES, MAN!

Indeed...or maybe it's the opposite that's needed: saying "NO" to what we have, saying "NO" to what ad-hoc right-wing government proposals, and saying "NO" to abiding by their freedom-seizing, 'anti-terror' invasive legislation and inexcusably unjust and improper utilisation of power.

Unfortunately i'm not at the moment, just the usual protests and government provocation through my writings. I'm hoping to start doing a bit more after exams in May
How about you?

I have a dream.
I would like to rebuild a traditional village here where I live, I would like to have people capable of doing everything to support a good and healthy life. Be away from consumism society and try to restore and apply everything that is great in arts. Imagine a Bauhaus melted with Arts & Crafts from Ruskin.
I saw that in small Swiss villages. I just think that there is no better way of living on earth then that.
This is the dream, now the reality is a bit different. I have to finish my Master Thesis.
After that I want to write some essays about the way we live in the Algarve, the region in the South of Portugal.
I should stop talking and pass to action.

Wow, that is some vision.
I hope you never lose sight of it; please keep me posted on anything you are considering doing.
"Imagine a Bauhaus melted with Arts & Crafts from Ruskin" - I can't imagine anything better, spot-on
I must admit, the sheer throught of living away from the capitalist and consumer-driven society now predominant in most countries would be bliss. Maybe then, and only then, can we start looking forward to a brighter, and much happier future.
Best of luck on your journey.
By the way, what is your Master Thesis on?

My journey will depend a lot from the people who surround me. I need to be part of a small "army" to acheive that.
My Master Thesis is about Architecture Photography. Nowadays we "learn" architecture by watching photos. I will try to explain the consequences of that on the contemporary architecture and it's theory.
If you ever come to Portugal, just tell me.
