the music is on. drums going slow as violins join in. a guitar. "it's the first days of spring .. and my life is starting over again."
as I listened to these words, suddenly the wish arose inside of me; I wanted them to be mine, moreover, to be my reality. I'd had it through with sadness of no reason, I was done with the dark times. oh and I even believed in my thought!
all winter was waiting for flowers to blossom, and by now I already catch a glimpse of their petals lying on the dusty ground. it's almost as though I missed out on the beginning, and it's too late now to start. to feel better. to grow.
but it doesn't work like that. I can't just say "this is the day where things will be lighter, and it will last for forever." days will be gloomy again. nights will go back to light. it is not in my power to how exactly I feel. but if I hold it close to my heart, it's merely what I choose to make out of it.
